Our Lobbyist

Gayle Berry
Legislative Lobbyist

Before becoming a lobbyist, Gayle Berry served in the Colorado legislature. During her eight year tenure she was a member of the powerful Joint Budget Committee, the House Appropriations Committee, and was chair of the House Transportation Committee. Gayle received more than thirty awards for her work as a legislator. She has been named to three state-wide commissions by three governors, both as a legislator and a lobbyist. Prior to entering the legislature Gayle operated her own business. She understands the critical balance between a healthy, profitable business environment, and an effective, responsible, state government.  Until term-limited in 2004 she represented House District 55 in Grand Junction Colorado.

I have been quite pleased with the information I receive from Leading Age that keeps our community on top of changes to regulations or making us aware of lesser known laws that relate to our industry. Just recently I received a notification from Leading Age on the Anti-trust laws that could have been a potential issue for us had this not been communicated. Such communications are invaluable to me, as an administrator, and the way we run our organization.
