This session will review what Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) should be addressing related to therapy service changes under PDPM. Changes to group and concurrent therapy will also be reviewed. The webinar will also cover what SNFs should consider when contracting with therapy and rehabilitation companies as of October 1, 2019.

Objectives

• Understand the calculation of therapy components under PDPM, including areas of focus in relation to MDS assessments and ICD-10 coding
• Explore therapy contracts and what may need to be renegotiated for the new model
• Understand what strategies to change to manage therapy delivery, including changes to group and concurrent therapy
