Multifamily Disaster Team! With hurricane season 2025 starting June 1st, let’s make sure you staff are prepared! We have been having very active hurricane seasons
lately. During this 90 minute webinar, HUD staff will walk through the specific ways HUD funded properties need to prepare for a hurricane. They will also discuss step-
by-step process for properties who may be affected by a hurricane in order to recover and mitigate issues, including HUD forms and regulations.

These sessions are designed to be interactive so be prepared to discuss experiences, ask questions, share best practices and recommendations on how HUD can improve support and technical assistance to you, our housing providers.

Learning Objectives:

• HUD Multifamily Housing Disaster Guidance - Identify where to find written guidance, what applies to specific properties, and how to connect with HUD's MF Disaster Team and what they do
• Preparedness - Learn about developing an Emergency Response Plan, including necessary contents
• Response - Learn where to start, what HUD requires, and how HUD can help during initial response period
• Recovery and Mitigation - Learn the different between recovery and mitigation and how to navigate both, as well as how HUD can help during both recovery and mitigation

Audience: Any Executive-level and property-level staff responsible for developing and executing emergency management procedures at HUD funded properties.
